So far this weekend, I've stitched the shoulder pads back into place, cleaned up both arm holes (which involved folding the lining into the seam allowance and sewing it back down, plus sewing the shoulder snaps back on), and done the paint test ( Read more... )

So, I am at home now, and decided to take a shot at putting on my brand new wig. I immediately ran into something that confused me. The wig cap whose use has been demonstrated to me was basically a tube. It was open at both ends, which allowed for positioning it around the hairline and then stuffing hair into it from above. The weekend was good. I went and saw The A-Team with tartary_lamb and enjoyed it thoroughly. I'm pretty sure I saw an episode or two of the original when I was a kid, but I don't remember it at all, so I was able to see the movie on its own terms intead of comparing. This is an appeal to all the icon makers out there. I kind of suck at making icons. But I desperately want more Guy, Kyle, and Guy/Kyle icons. There are a few out there, but not generally using the artwork I would like. So I capped a bunch of panels that looked interesting, or that might work when put together for a Guy/Kyle icon, and I am hoping ( Read more... )
